I guess I have nothing really new to post because I’m stucked to Ariel Pink! I am so in love with The Doldrums album and it makes me feel obscure and I’m kinda liking it. I think I’ve spent 2 hours only listening to The Ballad Of Bobby Pyn, the type of song you can’t ignore. Weird and lovable. Believe me, most of the songs from this album are great, but first you have to appreciate the Ariel Pink amazingly noisy glowish style, which I think was magically made for me.

Le Bubbling Mixtape

It’s a 50-minute mixtape, containing recent and old epic songs, mostly old (70s, 80s, 90s). As I am a beginner on doing this, you may notice that the mixtape is not so well done, for example, the ending of a song doesn’t really match the beginning of the other and etc.

The list of songs:

Reynard The Fox – Julian Cope

The Boy From Ipanema – Antena

Eight Miles High – Roxy Music

Third Uncle – Brian Eno

This Is Not America – David Bowie

Fright Night (Nevermore) – Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti

She’s Lost Control – Joy Division

Yo-yo – The Kinks

Can You Hear Me – Lights

Shadows – Midnight Juggernauts

I Can’t Wait – Nu Shooz

L’obsession d’Archibald – Space Art

Le Bubbling Mixtape!

Bossa nova + pop beats

I’m talking about Antena. And I feel sad for not have known about her music before because it’s so freaking amazing! It’s 80s music, and it’s delightful, crazy, that type of music you first hear and say: “What the fuck this is great! I want the whole discography”. Yeah, that’s what I thought. I highly recommend downloading the album Camino Del Sol.

But first, check out their awesomeness:
